Følger han på Facebook, og forstått at han var ute for en stygg smell i slutten av mai.
Ganske store skader, tror han mista ei nyre bl.a. :(

PS, Nå ser jeg jo at det står på videoen at engels tekst er tilgjengelig, men det gjorde det ikke når filmen først ble lagt ut,
da sto det bare "Deutsch"(eller noe sånt) på åpningsbildet. ;-)

In my first recording which I unfortunately lost due to camera issues I also explained the following which I feel is important to also mention:
I was always aware of the great risks I was taking with my riding style. Riding motorcycles is always dangerous. With corner speeds on the road like I used to do the danger obviously is getting a lot higher even. I kept on saying that I know that every ride I take could be my last. But the absolute joy I felt when riding spirited was worth taking the risk for me. I could quite easily make that decision because I was so unsatisfied with my whole existence. I truly acted according to 'I got almost nothing to lose anyway.'
But it wasn't just my riding style which was responsible for the crash. More specific it was my cockiness and over-confidence I showed when riding bikes which were never meant to be ridden super fast on the road. Which also were unfamiliar to me.
Indeed with experience combined with extra sensitive feel one can ride very fast while keeping things very much under control. For instance my riding with my CB500 - a motorcycle I know in and out - is a lot more controlled and less risky than it might appear within my videos.
On the Africa Twin I was lacking this experience. And it's also very hard to sense anything on an adventure bike with thin tires and very long suspension travel. If you want to move a bike like this in a quick manner it is important to stay patient. To take very small steps to learn how the bike behaves when entering riding big lean angles. I felt confident enough with just 3 hours of experience. Riding corners worked as well, as fast, as tilted as always. The footpegs were suffering a lot. Like this I was walking on an extremely thin line without noticing it. Until I asked for that one percent more which was too much and resulted in the crash. This could've happened at any point in my previous 3 hours of riding. I was over-confident. While my experience and knowledge about riding should've been good enough to very well know that I have to take it easier with this kind of bike. My respect simply wasn't big enough...
